Friday (September 18th) NME is set to drop their first publication of their brand new FREE weekly magazine. The first cover star for the NME‘s new style is none other than music’s favorite bad gal Rihanna. In the issue, RiRi opens up about her upcoming album. An anonymous poster on various message boards has been sharing the above image, purporting to be the back/tracklisting of Rihanna‘s long-awaited R8 album. Along with the photo, they revealed that the title of the album is Wildflower – which coincides with a post Rihanna put on Instagram 4 weeks ago (in the gallery) – and that it will be released by the end of the month. Now of course we must take this with a grain of salt because it IS on gossip message boards after all, but this tea is seeming pretty strong! I’m trying to make out who is listed as the feature on track 8 “Role Model” and it’s looking like Travi$ Scott, which would make sense. Also – love how she has a track named after her baby cousin Majesty! Super cute! Hoping this is the real deal!

Rihanna is currently doing her press rounds to promote her new film Home, but took some time to talk music as well while sitting down with MTV this week. Of course the subject of her long-awaited eighth studio album R8 come up, and Rih-Rih’s comments are sure to only get the Navy even more excited! “I’ve made a lot of songs that are just really, really big songs,” Rihanna said about R8. “From the jump, they just blow up. And I wanted to kind of get back to – not that they weren’t real music, but I just wanted to focus on things that felt real, that felt soulful, that felt forever.”
