Uh-Oh! This Monumental Actor has Some Choice Words For Quentin Tarantino!!

Levar Burton, known for playing young Kunta Kente in Roots (among other things) expressed his thoughts about Quentin Tarantino in a recent interview. He mentioned his thoughts on “12 Years A Slave” and, of course, that led to discussions about “Django: Unchained.” Hit the jump to see his words for the Director.

Who Called Spike Lee “Irresponsible” For His Thoughts On “Django Unchained” ???

One of the leading characters in “Django Unchained” has expressed their feelings towards Spike Lee. This movie has created a serious debate on viewers and directors of all kind. This time Jamie Foxx is saying, “I mean, I respect Spike, he’s a fantastic director. But he gets a little shady when he takes shots at his colleagues without looking at the work. To me, that’s irresponsible.” Race should not be as big of a factor as it has been with this movie, when it deals with FICTION. We all know the truth, so why get offended. “You can’t tell me that Eminem ain’t hot ‘cos he’s white or that Elvis Presley isn’t a bad motherf**ker, or that Quentin Tarantino can’t do whatever he likes, ’cause damn straight he can,” Foxx says to British newspaper The Sun. Let’s cross these barriers people. It is MLK day. Drop down bottom for more. JaaiR (JR)

(Video) Quentin Tarantino Blasts A Reporter About The Linking Of Fake/Real Violence

“I’m shutting your butt down,” is what Quentin Tarantino told this reporter for asking him if he was sure that there isn’t a link between liking fake violence and liking real violence. Quentin refused to answer the question. Let’s be real, his recent reactions to this violence thing is clearly the answer. If it wasn’t for real violence, where would he get the ideas to create the fake violence. The questioning was kind of funny though. Drop down bottom and check it out. JaaiR (JR)

Sacha Baron Cohen Was Forced To Drop Django Role?!

If you haven’t seen the highly controversial Django: Unchained yet, I suggest you do. Everybody that I know that’s seen it has recommended it and said that the movie was good. I never doubt Tarantino, he’s a film mastermind, and the cast is highly celebrated as well, but some big name stars had to drop out of the movie due to some scheduling conflicts. Take Sacha Baron Cohen who had to drop the movie for Les Miserables or even Joseph Gordon Levitt who also had to drop the film. Other stars who nixed the project include Kurt Russell, Kevin Costner, Jonah Hill and more. Hit the jump for more. PaulDaPro

NBA: Quentin Tarantino’s Mom Used To Date Which NBA Legend

Quentin Tarantino is making headlines right now as the director of the controversial movie “Django Unchained”. But this post is about a different type of news. Seems his mother was about that life in the past. In a recent interview he mentions how his mom used to live the life of a single swinger, usually while he was somewhere nearby. He was quoted as saying “Oh yeah, my mom, she dated Wilt Chamberlain”. So Wilt the stilt was smashing his mom back in the day. Guess she was one of the 20,000 reported woman Wilt slept with during his lifetime. I wonder if Quentin ever called Wilt “dad” ? . Hit the link after the jump for more. IamJOE357

(Video) Samuel L. Jackson Makes White Reporter Say The N-Word !?!?

There HAS been a lot of controversy around the use of the N-Word in Quentin Tarantino’s recent movie, “Django Unchained.” So, when the reporter began to ask Samuel L. Jackson about it he needed to say the word. No, None, Never, or Nor is Not the word…you all know what it is. Jake Hamilton did NOT say the word when asked to do so by Jackson, but some folks are arguing that he should have said it and there are others saying that he made a good decision by NOT. I watched the interview and I honestly thought that it was funny. Samuel was clearly having fun with him, and some just didn’t get the joke. Drop down bottom to watch. Jackson’s interview is around the 13:30 mark. JaaiR (JR)
