Saturday night Will Smith was honored with the Generation Award at the MTV Movie awards. Queen Latifah and Halle Berry did the honors of presenting Smith with the award. “There isn’t more talented and more generous to our community,” Queen Latifah said in her introduction. VH1 Cancels ‘Single Ladies’
After three seasons, VH1 is breaking up with “Singles Ladies.” The show concludes its third season March 24th, and will not be coming back for a fourth.
Networks Won’t Support A Show About Black Teens??!
Writer and producer Lena Waithe has a story to tell. Her latest project, Twenties, is “all about being in your ‘twenties’, finding yourself, speaking your mind, and making a conscious decision to have healthier relationships. In short, it’s a show about three girls who are just trying to get their lives together.” If Queen Latifah has fully funded this project and completely supports it, why do many Networks think that it won’t be successful?! Guess Who Cam’Ron Is Teaming Up With?
Killa Cam has an interesting new business partner. The Dipset rapper will be teaming up with a certain rapper turned actress and her movie production company. Under the partnership will be a new movie that Cam will be starring in. Apparently not only is Cam starring in it but he actually wrote a majority of the script!
