It looks like Qualcomm wants to make wi-fi standard on newer cars. Qualcomm want car owners to download apps for their smartphone to work their phones and not vice versa. Making a car totally equiped with Wifi could change game. Being able to download music, movies, and apps could make things like road trips more enjoyable.
