Since the sudden passing of seven time Grammy award winning vocalist, Prince, many people have sported the color purple to pay homage to the late singer. At the New York City Prince Street subway station in Brooklyn, there is a purple “P” and symbol plastered besides the “N” and “R” train symbols. Prince not only influenced music, and his fans, but he has now influenced local transportation as well.
