Over the course of 72 hours we have felt the rage, sadness and anger stemmed from the unjust murders of two Black men by police officers. All over the world protesters are sharing their pain and protesting peacefully.

In a recent segment of Fox News, Geraldo Rivera spoke on the murder rate in Baltimore City and commented that black lives only matter to black people when they are killed by white police officers. The state of justice in America is definitely up for debate. The 6 police officers charged with felonies in the death of Freddie Gray were taken into custody Friday night and released on bail today. Former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis gave an impassioned plea to the city of Baltimore earlier this week to stop the riots and violent protest. He wanted the same peaceful protesting that everybody else wanted and his message went viral quickly. It may have inspired another famous athlete with Baltimore ties to step up as well because yesterday Carmelo Anthony came back to rep for his city and join the protesters.
