Kim K Starts Riot In Bahrain!
Kim Kardashian was scheduled to appear in Bahrain for the opening a branch of “Millions of Milkshakes.” Well the people of Bahrain could care less who Kim K was and made sure she and her fans knew it. They protested her presence and had to be dispersed with tear gas for trying to declare her evil in public. According to reports they were chanting “God is Great!” Hit the jump. Steph B
Walmart Has Best Black Friday Ever!
The worlds largest employer boasts their best ‘Black Friday’ yet despite strikes, protest and calamity that comes with large crowds. Though planned strikes and protest of Walmart’s refusal to start collective bargaining with it’s employees have been launched, Walmart officials claim that fewer employees missed work this year than in years past and business continued as usual. ‘Clean Halls’- Bronx Community Leader Agrees
The “Clean Halls” movement also known as “Stop & Frisk” is a very controversial issue in NY. In June of this year Thousands, yes thousands took a silent march to protest against the “Clean Halls Act”. Opponents of this program say it lets NYPD arrest people for trespassing outside of their own buildings. Take a look here to recap on the march in June.
