I’m from Brooklyn, but even I’ve heard of BX Legend Peter Shue, the infamous drug kingpin that had Madonna on smash, at least that was the word on the street back then.

It seems like a few artists have been in hot water with court cases in the past couple of months. Next up to have a lawsuit against them, Chief Keef. The CEO of The FN Media Group, Joey Capers has filed a default judgment of $23,500 against Keith Cozart who goes by the name Chief Keef and his manager Idris “Peeda Pan” Abdul Wahid. He also filed against Keef’s label Glory Boyz Entertainment, Global Touring and his former management team Uncle Ro MGMT. The rapper is getting sued because he was scheduled to perform a show in Philly back in December of 2012. Capers is claiming that Keef skipping out on the show caused his business to be “destroyed.” Check out some of the documents in the gallery!
Who fights at a non-violence concert; these dudes! In case you’ve been under a rock – or just not into R&B that much – you’ve heard that August Alsina got into a little scuffle over the weekend. During the State of Emergency 2 series in St. Louis (an event in support of non-violence & honoring Mike Brown) Alsina and one of the promoters, known as Loose Cannon Slim, of said event were in disagreement on some things. The lack of eye-to-eye between the two lead to a Slim sending his bullies for the R&B crooner, only things backfired; he got jumped by five dudes. The promoter admits getting jumped, but says he walked away without a scratch. Sure, that’s what they all say. Check out the promoter’s ‘they didn’t really do nothing’ spill after the jump.
