Too $hort appeared in court today to for a hearing in his DUI plea deal. Back in 2013, the Bay Area legend struck a deal with prosecutors to do complete community service and spend 3 years on probation, in exchange for no jail time. Unfortunately, he didn’t complete the community service in a timely fashion, and the judge on the case today instead recommended another 3 years on probation. $hort wasn’t with it, though. Happily obliging, the judge sentenced him to 90 days in jail, and he’s already began serving day 1. However, because of overcrowding, he’ll likely walk free in a matter of days. A few days versus a few years? I think that was a pretty smart move! Let us know your thoughts!
