Bellingham Christian School in Bellingham, Washington canceled classes today on account that the weather would be nice. The principle apparently sent letters to parents earlier this week saying they would most likely cut out a day of school to enjoy the sunshine. The principle even said that the day off was a good move in an effort to “promote positive school culture”. This has to be the most awesome story of the day! Tech Talk News: High School Principle Under Fire For Racy Facebook Picture!
A high school principle has come under fire for a very, racy picture that she uploaded to Facebook. Sharron Smalls, principle of Jane Addams High in New York, is already under investigation after claims that she was not giving students the credit that they earned. The students discovered the picture, printed them out, and passed them around the school. I’m not too sure how the students found the picture, I know when I was in high school the teachers weren’t allowed to be our Facebook friends until after graduation and their pages had to be private.
