Season 3 of Power ended with quite the cliffhanger, and fans are anxiously awaiting season 4 to learn Ghost’s fate. Judging by the pattern the Starz series has displayed in the first three seasons, we likely won’t know the full story until next summer, but at least we can get some hints until then! The cast are back in NYC shooting for next season as we speak, and paparazzi have been able to get shots of Ghost, Tommy, Tasha and the rest of the gang on set – even Keisha! So breathe easy – Lala’s character wasn’t killed off! We also see Ghost in his prison suit on the phone, and an annoyed Tasha in the courtroom. Check out the pics and a video from the set below!
Once again, 50 Cent is being sued by a man who claims he came up with the idea for Power. This has happened before with not only Power, but Empire as well. R. Byron Hord and Curtis Scoon claim that they pitched the show to 50 Cent in March of 2011, except theirs was titled Dangerous. It was about a black drug dealer attempting to turn his life around for the better, and included a Irish gangster friend and his girlfriend. Hord and Scoon are also suing Starz and parent company CBS, and are looking to get as much as $180,000 per episode.
Snoop Dogg is all here for Power! In fact, he thinks this is the best television show on TV in the past 5 years. I guess that means no room for Empire on his end.
Chris Brown was reportedly supposed to have a “big role” as a drug dealer on Power in the near future, orchestrated by one of his good friends, 50 Cent. However, Page Six reports that the people higher than 50 weren’t having it, due to recent events… “The network insisted that Chris’ casting was not going to happen, because of fears about his anger issues,” a source told the gossip column. “There was a big blowup, and they had to tell Chris he was not going to get the role. The news was delivered to him early Monday. He was livid.”
50 reveals just why he’s not here for his junk appearing on television in an in depth interview with Jimmy Kimmel. Cats out of the bag!
