TMZ photogs caught up with Post in West Hollywood Sunday night, and he took shots at anyone who’s hating on him. One really interesting part of the interview was Post detailing his roots in music. He revealed that he grew up listening to everything from heavy metal like Megadeath to hip-hop classics like N.W.A. However, it wasn’t listening to music that got him interested in making it. Post Malone revealed that it was actually the popular video game ‘Guitar Hero.’ He said he loved playing the game so much that he begged for an actual guitar and from there grew his love for hip-hop and making beats on the computer.
