Django Unchained has had the internet and media buzzing since before it was even released on Christmas Day. Although it’s only been a week since it’s release, people are already saying the movie is one of the best of 2012. Celebrities such as Charlie Sheen, Anthony Hamiltion, Pam Grier, Big Boi, RZA and more tweeted about seeing the movie and how great it was. Not only have celebs gave the flick rave reviews, but critics have also been raving about the movie as well. One person who won’t be seeing the movie is Spike Lee who called the movie “disrespectful to my ancestors,” going on to say, “American Slavery Was Not A Sergio Leone Spaghetti Western. It Was A Holocaust. My Ancestors Are Slaves. Stolen From Africa. I Will Honor Them.” Many people also questioned Quentin Tarantino’s use of the N-Word throughout the movie, but Tarantino calls all the criticism ridiculous. Have you seen Django Unchained, yet? Do you agree that it’s the best or one of the best movies of 2012? Let us know below. Julie A.
