The Nation of Islam leader, Minister Louis Farrakhan was preaching in Detroit on Sunday when he brought up critics of Beyonce’s Super Bowl performance. He touched on recent headlines which included a Beyonce boycott at NFL headquarters and police refusing to work at stadiums during her upcoming concerts. However, according to the Minster Queen Bey won’t be needing the protection of police because The Nation of Islam has her back. Farrakhan said, “She started talking all that black stuff … and white folks were like, ‘We don’t know how to deal with that.’” He then went on to fire shots at NYC’s former mayor Rudy Giuliani adding, “Look at how you treatin’ Beyonce now. You gonna picket. You not gonna offer her police protection. But the FOI [Fruit of Islam] will.” Listen to the sermon below.
