Prosecturs have rejected James Holmes’ plea deal, and plan to seek the death penalty for the Dark Knight shooter. “It is my determination and my intention that in this case for James Eagan Holmes, justice is death,” Arapahoe County District Attorney George Brauchler said in a statement. Holmes’ attorneys are expected to argue that he was legally insane at the time of the shooting and therefore shouldn’t be sentenced to death.
