As we patiently wait for this hoverboard phase to die down, it looks like a congregation in the Philippines is over it, too! A video surfaced of a super hip priest riding his hoverboard during Christmas mass while singing to his church. Although I’m completely over this annoying epidemic going on, the video was extremely entertaining. However, his congregation was NOT with it one bit. < !--more--> Jazlana: Twitter || Instagram The priest was suspended for the show he put on during X-mas mass, with his church calling his behavior “wrong.” They issued a statement saying:

“The Eucharist demands utmost respect and reverence. It is the Memorial of the Lord’s Sacrifice. It is the source and summit of Christian life. It is the Church’s highest form of worship. Consequently, it is not a personal celebration where one can capriciously introduce something to get the attention of the people.”
