So Sad: The Official Cause Of Death For Philip Seymour Hoffman Has Been Released

The final toxicology report for deceased actor Philip Seymour Hoffman has been released. According to a NYC medical examiner, Hoffman passed away on February 2nd from a massive overdose of heroin, cocaine and Rx prescription pills that were all found in his system. The actual cause of death was listed as “acute mixed drug intoxication.” He was struggling with addiction for quite some time and it is very tragic his life had to end like this.

On Thursday afternoon, Philip Seymour Hoffman’s family left their NYC apartment. His girlfriend/mother of his child, Mimi O’Donnell watched over the three kids as they made their way to the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home on Madison Avenue. The wake will be held from 5 – 9 PM EST. A funeral service will be held Friday on Park Avenue at the St. Ignatius of Loyola Church. The service will be small and discreet only family and chosen friends. See the photo below.


Four Drug-Dealing Suspects Arrested In Connection With Selling Drugs To Actor, Philip Seymour Hoffman

Three men and one woman was arrested at 302 Mott Street in Manhattan in connection to the heroin the actor, Philip Seymour Hoffman purchased prior to his death. 350 bags filled with the drug were labeled as “black list” and “red bull,” when police entered the apartments to arrest the dealers. Sources claim that these weren’t the same type of drug found in Hoffman’s apartment. One of the four dealers arrested was found with Hoffman’s telephone number in his cell. TSK TSK!
