It’s no secret the Knicks are having the worst season in franchise history and have been difficult to even watch. It was the further thing from the minds of most fans and people within the organization the day Phil Jackson was hired to run things. It was an upbeat time in New York and the buzz was back at MSG. Unfortunately the buzz faded quick and the reality check came very fast. Phil himself described the season with two words, sh*t happens!


NBA Report: Knicks Might Not Draft Karl-Anthony Towns Because His Butt Isn’t Big Enough

Charley Rosen, Phil Jackson’s confidant and his former longtime Albany Patroons assistant coach, believes center has to be the Knicks’ No. 1 priority in the offseason. Rosen, a triangle offense savant, believes Kentucky’s Karl-Anthony Towns, who has growing momentum as the No. 1 overall pick, isn’t the answer as the low-post threat needed in the triangle, but free-agent-to-be center Greg Monroe of Detroit would be a great Jackson pickup.


NBA: Phil Jackson Says Knicks Priority is Free Agency Not the Draft

After a couple bad trades and a self admitted “project gone awry”, Knicks president Phil Jackson is faced with the task of rebuilding a team that has steadily gone downhill.  With currently the worst record in the NBA, it’s assumed the Knicks are in full tank mode and will likely end up with a top-3 pick in the upcoming draft.  Jackson has also spent a lot of time lately at college games scouting potential players.  Many Knicks fans have their sights set on Jahlil Okafor or Karl-Anthony Towns to save the team but it turns out despite all those facts, Jackson is actually focused on free agency.


NBA: Phil Jackson Rips the Knicks’ Effort on Twitter After Blowout Loss to Cavaliers

The New York Knicks suffered a 101-83 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday at Madison Square Garden.  The 18-point blowout extended the Knicks losing streak to seven games and dropped them to an NBA-worst 10-45 record.  Knicks president Phil Jackson was very disappointed in their effort and took to his Twitter account to express his thoughts on the matter.


NBA: Kobe Bryant Explains Why He Hated Phil Jackson

There’s a few things Phil Jackson and Kobe Bryant have in common; they’re both strong, outspoken and winners.  While most like to think that the two had the best relationship and Jackson has even referred to Kobe as “my son”, Jackson has also written and expressed some damaging things about the Black Mamba.  In an interview with GQ, Kobe explains those turbulent times with the Lakers while he was trying to work with Shaq and Jackson and how rough things were between them; at one point Kobe even hated Phil Jackson.


NBA: Phil Jackson Once Admitted Championship Knicks Deflated Balls Then Denied It

With the New England Patriots #DeflateGate investigation still ongoing and being talked about, one reporter decided to look up similar stories and came across an article on Phil Jackson and the championship Knicks which won titles in 1970 and 1973.  In the article Jackson admitted the Knicks deflated balls.  As the story began to circulate, Jackson now the Knicks president, took to his Twitter account and cleared up what really happened.
