Having come up in the game at the same time and losing a fellow legend is hard enough, but Heavy D was more than just a friend of Pete Rock’s…he was his first cousin. Early this morning, Pete called in to Hot 97’s morning show with Cipha Sounds, Peter Rosenberg and Kay Foxx to discuss his cousin’s untimely passing yesterday. So sad. RIP again, Heavy D!
