Editorial director, Jess Cagle says that choosing Lupita for the cover was a piece of cake – as it’s usually a debate. “She’s kind of all the rage. There was really no contest this year. She seemed like the only choice. Usually there’s a lot of debate; this time, we were all in agreement,” Cagle states. We would have to agree. 2014’s it girl!
