When Paul Walker tragically passed away in a car crash on November 30th, many wondered about the fate of ‘Fast & Furious,’ as he was in the middle of shooting the seventh installment of the wildly popular movie franchise. Paul has been a part of the F&F family since the very start, and was a huge part of the franchise’s success. Now his family is speaking out about what their wishes are for Paul’s role, and fans will be very happy with the news. Filming for ‘7’ began back in September, and was on a Thanksgiving break when the tragedy struck. Universal Pictures recently announced they are suspending production “for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise,” but if Paul’s parents have any say in it, their son’s role will not be edited out. “They don’t want him cut out of the movie,” a source close to the family revealed. “It wouldn’t be what Paul would have wanted. Paul absolutely loved being a part of the Fast & Furious franchise. His family knows writers and producers will handle Paul’s death with dignity and understanding.” Filming of the Fast & Furious 7 is expected to resume in late January or early February 2014.
Paul Walker just in a happy mood moments before his fatal Porsche accident. He was seen laughing and smiling in the passenger seat of the car. The photos were shot as Paul and driver Roger Rodas were leaving the Santa Clarita charity car show that Walker had organized. So sad seeing him so happy then just a few minutes you see the fiery wreck it became… all in flames. See the photos below.
After passing away on November 30th due to a crash that resulted in flames, Paul Walker’s remains have been removed from the L.A. County Coroner’s Office. His family had them transported to a local mortuary yesterday, and now they will decide how and when the actor will be laid to rest. RIP.
