Monday was the annual White House Easter Egg Roll event and a few basketball players were on hand thanks to NBA Cares, including newly elected Hall of Famer Dikembe Mutombo and Washington Wizards John Wall and Paul Pierce. Everyone knows the President loves basketball so with a few players on hand, there was a pickup game. “The Truth” got a taste of his own medicine as Barack Obama trash talks Paul Pierce after hitting game winner.

Otto Porter has only been making headlines for the wrong reasons lately. It wasn’t that long ago when he was playing stand still defense as play continued around him, and now he is being mentioned for another not so great reason. He tried to throw down an alley oop from John Wall last night but instead got nothing but the front of the rim. Now it was somewhat Wall’s fault for the bad pass, but either way the finish was ugly. Perhaps the funniest part of the entire play however was Paul Pierce’s reaction from the bench.

Drake isn’t helping to fight his reputation as a fanboy… The Washington Wizards took on the Raptors in Toronto on Wednesday night and of course the Raptors Global Ambassador was in the building. Drake likes to be playful and friendly with many of the players but it was just the wrong time and Paul Pierce wasn’t having it.

He repeatedly said “we executed” and even told one reporter, “I don’t like you”. After Paul Pierce and the Washington Wizards defeated his old team, the Nets in Brooklyn, Pierce decided to follow suit.

Ray Allen has not retired, although he hasn’t shown a strong interest in seeking out a spot on a team either. It’s not that multiple team don’t want him, they do! He is the one playing a bit of a cat and mouse game. The strongest and most sensible move we keep hearing may happen is Ray linking back up with Lebron in Cleveland. Now a new story claims he may link back up with an old teammate, but Paul Pierce instead.
