Kanye West Eyeing Paul McCartney Collaboration For Next Album?

Kanye has his eye on a very special collaboration for his next studio album. The G.O.O.D. Music creator is rumored to want to work with none other than Paul McCartney. “Kanye really respects music legends and is still putting the finishing touches to his new album,” an unnamed source reportedly shared. “He has been tapping Macca up for a while about working together. Kanye and Paul have known each other for a long time but became more friendly recently,” the source also said. “There’s every chance they’ll head into the studio together.” With Kanye almost always getting his way, this shouldn’t be a hard task!

Sir Paul McCartney had a nice little surprise up his sleeve today for New Yorkers as he tweeted out, “Wow! Really excited to be playing New York Times Square at 1pm this afternoon!” To promote his latest project, the legendary Beatles singer performed songs off his upcoming album entitled New which is scheduled to be released on October 15th. Grammy-Winning Producer Phil Ramone Dies At 79

Phil Ramone, a Grammy winner for his production work, has passed away at age 79. Ramone produced tracks for Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Tony Bennett, Madonna, Lou Reed, and more. During his lifetime Ramone, won 14 competitive Grammy Awards and one for lifetime achievement. Read more below.


Marilyn Monroe’s Suicide Note Up For Auction

Marilyn Monroe wrote a scratchy suicide note to her fried Lee Strasberg and now it’s available for auction along with 250 notable documents online. The documents will be on display at Douglas Elliman’s Madison Avenue art gallery in the photo’s her handwriting is hardly legible at times but that isn’t surprising. Some of what I could make out she says, “My will is weak but I can’t stand anything. I sound crazy but I think I’m going crazy.” She definitely seemed crazy in the note. You have to physically go to the gallery to see John Lennon’s rant to Paul McCartney after the Beatles broke up, or Dwight Eisenhower’s secret love letters, but you can check out the suicide note in the gallery above.


Courtney Love Trashes McCartney Performance With Nirvana

Courtney Love the outspoken widow of Nirvana’s dead lead singer, Kurt Cobain, had a pretty harsh opinion on a performance where Nirvana played their new song with Paul McCartney. Love, who has never been one to hold her tongue didn’t like the performance and really hasn’t had one nice thing to say since her husband killed died in a suspected suicide.
