Damarion Thomas, a former Saginaw Sunny Side Gang member, was shot and killed by two gunmen wearing masks and carrying assault type rifles. One of the gunmen shot Thomas in the head while his partner held dozens of people hostage. Thomas was shot execution style while in a halfway house. He was one of many prisoners who had their sentences pardoned by President Obama.

Snowden has since been on the run since due to the fact that he will face over 30 years in jail for violating the Espionage Act.
