IFWT Interview: Ty Dolla $ign Talks ‘Ratchet’ Music, Fatherhood, Album Features, Boogawolves & More!

It’s about 11 p.m. in Phoenix, Arizona, and a sweaty Ty Dolla $ign is grinning as he scrolls through his phone. Ty just left the stage (following sets from Migos, Sage The Gemini and a few local artists), and was back in his dressing room waiting to join YG’s set a little later.

(Photos) Aww! Guess Who Ty Dolla $ign’s Valentine Was!

Ty Dolla $ign has had quite the year. His debut EP Beach House dropped on iTunes this month, his song “Paranoid” is in rotation at radio stations across the nation, he signed to both Atlantic Records and Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang imprint…and yet, his main priority has remained his 8-year-old daughter! In between photos of the places music is taking him, as well as his weed of choice for the day, the California triple threat (singer/songwriter/producer) continues to share adorable images of him and his “love,” and even made sure his leading lady was by his side for Valentine’s Day this past weekend to enjoy the special day together. I love how committed he is to fatherhood, despite the newfound fame (which of course brings along tons more women and money!) Check out pics of him and his TWIN (those eyes!) in the gallery.

Ty Dolla $ign has a hit in, “Paranoid.” The Cali rapper/singer recently stopped by SOBs in New York where he performed the track, and now, he’s back on home turf to perform with DJ Mustard. I’m guessing that’s why the audience got money out of the deal. See what’s going on, after the jump.

French Montana finally releases the visuals for his single “Paranoid”. Take a look at the video after the jump!

(Photos) French Montana Re-Lives Getting Shot In The Head In New Music Video

Before he rose to fame, French Montana was involved in a shooting in his hometown of New York that resulted in him getting shot in the head. (It left a slew of legal trouble too, but that’s since been cleared up.) Thankfully he survived the incident and came out of it even stronger than before, but he’ll never forget that fateful day. The Bad Boy rapper decided to re-live it in his new music video, made apparent by images he posted on Instagram over the weekend. Though I’m not sure what song it’s for, a previous post regarding a contest for his upcoming visual to “Paranoid” could hint that that’s what it is. There was also a post from the set of his collab with Chinx for “Feelings,” so that may be it as well. Time will soon tell for sure! Check out more images from the set in the gallery.
