Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 3/2/14 … Congrats To ScHoolboy Q On A #1 Debut!

It was a good week for debuts, as there are 6 brand new albums in the Billboard 200 this week! A big congratulations goes out to ScHoolboy Q, whose major label debut Oxymoron is sitting quite comfortably at number one with 139k units sold since its release last Tuesday. He’s definitely the man of the year! Also premiering high are Kid Cudi and Romeo Santos, whose new albums are numbers 4 and 5, respectively. Get the full top 10 below!

ScHoolboy Q has been all over NYC promoting his album Oxymoron that just hit #1 on the Billboard charts. During his stay on the East Coast, the Los Angeles native held a private listening session at Alife Rivington Club where he performed tracks off the album, took pics with some fans, shook some hands and blazed a few with his crew (as expected). It’s no secret that Kendrick Lamar is smashing things, allowing listeners to soak in the lyrics of good kid, m.A.A.d. city, but now ScHoolBoy Q has the rap community speaking good things about recently released album, Oxymoron. With the duo’s work being the apple of rap culture’s eye right now, the two were able to snag a spot for Billboard Magazine’s next issue. The title reads, The Tale of Top Dawg.
