This is such a shame! School shootings have become the the norm these days. A Florida teen at West Orange High School was shot today, after a fight had broken out near the school’s bus stop. Principal, Douglas Szcinski went to Facebook to mention, “There has been an incident in which one student was shot. That student is alert and is being transported to the hospital. Law enforcement is on the scene working the situation.” WILD! One student on the scene had told the Orlando Sentinel that, “he didn’t hear the shot, but saw the victim lying on the ground twitching.” So sad! As this story develops, we’ll keep you updated.
NBA: Dwight Howard Puts an Ad in the Orlando Sentinel To Show Love To the City & His Fans
Too many athletes are doing this now its beginning to seem disingenuous. They leave the team they’ve been playing with, then put an ad in the town’s newspaper to show their love. The “Dwightmare” was over when All-Star center Dwight Howard was finally traded from the Orlando Magic to the Los Angeles Lakers, amid his request. This left many fans upset with the smiley usually well liked star. In order to show his love for the city of Orlando and his “fans”, Dwight put an ad in the Sunday edition of the Orlando Sentinel.
