The Golden State Warriors will face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals starting this Thursday on June 4th. Warriors forward Draymond Green has gotten a lot of publicity lately since he’ll be charged with the task of guarding LeBron James. As his popularity has grown, he’s become the latest celebrity to have his old tweets dug up. Green recently mentioned that he’s watched James play since he was in high school. Like many others he put his thoughts about James on Twitter and now they look pretty bad since they’re both in the NBA and about to face off against each other.
NBA: Damian Lillard Apologizes To LeBron James for Old Tweets
A few days ago some of Damian Lillard’s old tweets were dug up and many of them were towards LeBron James. Lillard wrote the tweets in 2011 while he was a student athlete at Weber State University. It’s also the year LeBron and the Heat lost to the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals. Lillard’s tweets went from being a big fan of LeBron’s to being very critical of him when he lost, even calling James a “p*ssy”. Lillard called James shortly after the tweets reappeared and the two of them hashed things out.

We’ve all posted some inappropriate tweets that would really get us in some trouble if we became famous. I’ve seen rappers get exposed from dug up tweets and I guess its the NBA’s turn. Somebody dug up old tweets from today’s NBA stars and Portland Trailblazers guard Damian Lillard got exposed the most.

Oh my GOSH! Ish got SO real on Twitter last night! I’m not sure if a new feature became available that let you dig back in the archives of old tweets easier, or someone just had a LOT of time on their hands, but either way…your favorite new rappers were put on mega blast! Going back to 2009 and 2010 on the timelines of artists among the likes of Mac Miller, A$AP Rocky, Trinidad James, Wiz Khalifa and more, it’s hilarious to see the not-so-nice commentary they had on people who they now work with, are signed to or shoot…even are engaged to (WIZ!)
