Omar From “The Wire” (Michael K. Williams) To Play Ol’ Dirty Bastard In New Movie
Oh I can definitely see this one! Actor Michael K. Williams, known best for his role as Omar in “The Wire,” is set to play late rapper Ol’ Dirty Bastard in an upcoming movie. Today we pay tribute to the life and music of deceased rapper Ol’ Dirty Bastard or ODB. The Wu-Tang clan founding member passed away on this day in 2004, just two days before his 36th birthday. After Wu-Tang exploded on the music scene in 1993 with the album “Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers),” ODB became notorious for his wild behavior and his hit singles “Brooklyn Zoo”,”Shimmy Shimmy Ya” and much, much more!! ODB’s “Return To The 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version” To Be Re-Released
Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s iconic solo album Return To The 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version is being set to be re-released. The album will be re-mastered, feature remixes and instrumentals, unheard music and come as a wallet box set. The set will contain rare, limited edition material.
