(Photos) NBA: Kevin Durant & Russell Westbrook Reunite With Former Teammate James Harden

James Harden, Daequan Cook, and Cole Aldrich, who were traded to Houston in October, reunite with old friends and former teammates Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and Kendrick Perkins from their 2011-12 Thunder squad.  I think the pictures were taken before the Thunder destroyed the Rockets with a 124-94 victory.  Check them out after the jump. (Video) NBA: Lebron Throws Down Monster Dunks in Christmas Game Against the Thunder

Since Lebron is never going to do the Slam Dunk contest, we have to settle for these crazy in game dunks.  Last night Lebron and the Miami Heat put on quite a show against the Oklahoma City Thunder in a rematch of last season’s NBA finals.  The Heat narrowly beat the Thunder 103-97 in an amazing throwdown including these two dunks from Bron.  Check it out after the jump. NBA: Russell Westbrook Might Be In Dunk Contest?

I purposely used this picture above from last year’s NBA all-star game to show how much my boy Westbrook gets up!! He is only 6’3 (probably shorter) and as you can see he is dunking right between Lebron and Dwight Howard during last year’s game. His feet are basically at their waist! I would love to see him in the dunk contest. The dunk contest has been hit or miss in recent years. Yes Blake Griffin winning a couple years ago was exciting and entertaining, but some years it is very boring. Having a star like Westbrook bring attention to it again, especially with his athletic ability would be fun. Seeing the little guys of the NBA fly through the air always looks better. NBA: Spurs Stephen Jackson Sends Threat to Thunder Serge Ibaka

Spurs forward Stephen Jackson has a reputation that precedes him; from his showdown at the Palace with the Pistons, a gun incident outside an Indianapolis strip club and his rumored gang affiliation, he’s not exactly someone you want to mess with.  His temper got the best of him last night when he threatened Oklahoma City Thunder forward Serge Ibaka.  Read more after the jump. NBA: James Harden “OKC Only Gave Me One Hour To Consider Offer”

Seems there may be some hurt feelings after the blockbuster trade a couple weeks ago that sent James Harden from Oklahoma City to the Houston Rockets. According to Harden, the Thunder only allowed him one hour to consider their final contract proposal. You would figure after his time with the thunder and the success they enjoyed together they would have been more patient. However, as usual in sports, business is business. (Photo) NBA: Fan Gets James Harden’s Face Cut Into the Back of His Head

“Fear the Beard” as pure excitement has taken over the league and Houston fans with the James Harden trade.  Since the Oklahoma City Thunder traded him to the Rockets, Harden has dropped 37, 45 and 24 points consecutively in his first three games.  One fan got a little too excited and got James Harden cut into the back of his head.  Check it out after the jump.
