You wouldn’t think of the Oklahoma City Thunder and Sacramento Kings as a budding rivalry, but there is certainly a war of words going on between players on both rosters and it’s heating up.

Kevin Durant is still trying to work his way into basketball shape and get the feel of the game again after missing the first month of the season with a foot injury. So it is only right that he wants to get the ball alot and get involved more heavily in the offense, which would be for the benefit of everyone on OKC. Even when not at 100%, if you see an inferior defender on KD you better make sure you pass him the ball and when you don’t KD might not be so nice. Jeremy Lamb found out last night as Durant cursed at him when Lamb looked away from him and passed the ball to someone else.
I’m sure Oklahoma City Thunder fans are extremely happy to have Russell Westbrook back. On Sunday night during the Thunder’s game against the Detroit Pistons, Russell Westbrook’s dunk stole the show and could very well be the dunk of the year.
This is the Oklahoma City Thunder wrapped up in a 17-second video. We all laugh at Russell Westbrook’s crazy shots and ignoring the team’s star player and reigning MVP, Kevin Durant but after watching this video I don’t know if I want to laugh and/or shake my head.
The Knicks season that already appears to be headed for a long, ugly journey just got a little harder as it was announced that Russell Westbrook will return for the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight, just in time to welcome the Knicks. At first glance the matchup against OKC could of been good for the Knicks as they struggle early in the season and could use a win against a depleted Thunder team. That theory however changed real fast with this announcement.
When Kevin Durant suffered a foot fracture during the preseason, the timeline for his recovery was initially reported as being six to eight weeks. When Russell Westbrook suffered a hand fracture in the second game of the season, the timetable for him to return was projected as being four to six weeks. That time is finally up, both Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook could return to the lineup next week.
