While vacationing in Greece with his family, a Washington D.C. man crossed paths with what he thought was an octopus. While snorkeling, Labros Hydras — a mechanical engineer — pulled the animal out of the water and killed it by smashing its head on a rock. Although octopuses are a delicacy when cooked, it wasn’t until later that the man was made aware that it wasn’t one.
