Justice Department Wants To Ban Alabama Immigration Law

The Obama administration has formally asked an appeals court to block Alabama’s immigration law. The Alabama law is considered the toughest immigration law in the entire country and has sparked discrimination against foreign born people including citizens. The law has also caused a decrease in school attendance because non-citizen parents are afraid to send their children to school in fear that immigration will take them from school in a ploy to find people living here illegally. Hezbollah Leader Military Tribunal Could Happen In The U.S.

The Obama Administration is debating on how to handle the tribunal of Hezbollah leader Ali Mussa Daqduq. The leader of the terrorist group is currently being detailed in Iraq, but the US is considering bring him here and having his military tribunal on US soil. A military commission has not been held on American soil since President Bush had a few 9/11 suspects in the US before they were eventually moved.
