After news broke that Steve Smith was leaving the Gmen for the Eagles – Everyone took to Twitter (including myself wondering if the Giants knew that the lockout was over ie. Plax, Boss, Smith & more) to let the Giants know what they thought. Just In! NFL: WR Steve Smith Leaves Giants, Reaches Agreement with Eagles!
Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl The Eagles pulled off a surprise today reportedly agreeing to a one year deal with former Giants Pro Bowl WR Steve Smith. Smith had a spectacular 2009 season catching 107 passes for over 1200 yards and was having another big year in 2010 until he had a nasty injury which required microfracture surgery in December.

The NFL star and his wife Abby, who live in Hoboken, N.J., during the season, have been busy preparing for the arrival at their other home in Oxford, Miss.
