So, the Billboard Music Awards have ended, and it is now time for another show; the 2015 BET Award nominations are in. In a tie with Chris Brown for six nominations, Nicki Minaj is the lady leading the pack. Nick makes it in ‘Best Collaboration’ with August Alsina for “No Love” remix, ‘Video of the Year’ for “Anaconda” and of course, Best Female Hip-Hop Artist along with DeJ Loaf, Iggy Azalea, Tink, Trina and Azealia Banks. Banks is already counting herself out of the game.

The 57th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on February 8, 2015 in Los Angeles and a slew of musical talent are scheduled to be in the building. During ‘CBS This Morning’ Pharrell Williams and Ed Sheeran announced several categories for the upcoming award show. In the running for Best Urban Contemporary Album includes Chris Brown’s X, Jhené Aiko’s Sail Out, Beyoncé’s Beyoncé, Mali Is’s Mali Music and Hollywood Walk of Fame honoree, Pharell Williams for G.I.R L. Drake Ranks Highest For Most Nominations For 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards
The time is now – the nominations for BET’s 2014 Hip Hop Awards have been released. Topping the list with the most nominations is (beating of the drums)……Drake (but you already knew that! The OVO crew member has a total of eight nominations in categories such as ‘Album of the Year’, ‘MVP of the Year’ and the ‘People’s Champ Award.’ Following right behind Drizzy are Jay Z, Future, and Pharrell with six nominations and Nicki Minaj, Rich Homie Quan, and YG pick up five. 2014 MTV Video Music Awards Nominees Announced: Beyonce, Iggy Azalea & Eminem Lead The Pack!
The nominees for the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards have been announced, and Beyonce is leading the pack with a whopping 8 nods, while Eminem and Iggy Azalea aren’t too far behind with 7 nods each. Luckily for Iggy, she’s not up against Nicki Minaj in any category, so no shade, no shade! The 2014 VMAs go down Sunday, August 24 at 9pm EST, live from Irvine, CA. DAMN! Drake Nominated for SIX MuchMusic Awards!
Drake may need to make some shelves for new souvenirs! The “Trophies” rapper (starting to think he made this song on purpose). Has racked as much as 6 nominates for this years MuchMusic Awards. The nominations include Video Of The Year, Hip Hop Video Of The Year and Director of The Year with X for “Worst Behavior” and International Video Of The Year By A Canadian for “Hold On, We’re Going Home.” Both videos were in support of his 2013 album, Nothing Was the Same. They’ll face off with him in the Video Of The Year category.The 25th annual MuchMusic Video Awards, which airs on June 15 at 9 p.m. ET, will be co-hosted by reality stars none other than Kylie and Kendall Jenner. The Grammy Awards are going down tonight! The four artists up for the top awards are: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (up for Album and Song of the Year), Daft Punk (for Album and Record), Bruno Mars (in the running for Record and Song) and Lorde (also up for Record and Song). It’s hard to tell who is walking away with what award, with some of the names in the categories! Kanye West, who’s the best reviewed artist of the year, is not up for any major awards.
