NBA labor talks broke down on Thursday after negotiations got pretty heated. Â According to Billy Hunter the owners told the union they had to accept a 50-50 BRI split before they would even begin discussing the system. Â That’s pretty ridiculous. Â The small market teams vastly outnumber the big market teams and they’re pretty insistent on a hard cap and other “necessities” that will even the playing field and eliminate the loss of revenue.
