(Photos) NFL: Johnny Football Upgrades His Whip, Now You Can Own His Old One!

Johnny Manziel is obviously getting accustomed to his NFL salary because he finally made a move that most new players to the league do. He upgraded his car game! Johnny traded in his humble 2014 Nissan Titan SL, for the second fastest production car, a 2015 Nissan GT-R. The new ride comes complete as a special edition with black interior, which ran about $110,000! The catch is he autographed the dashboard of his Titan which he traded in and the truck is on full display at the dealership in Cleveland for $43,720, which they admit includes a higher price cause of the signature on the dashboard. Guarantee you someone buys it, likely from Texas once they put the truck on Ebay. Check the pics.

Auto Talk: Nissan GT-R successor targeted for 2018

All is not lost for the future of the Nissan GT-R, according to Inside line. As you may recall, the site recently reported that CEO Carlos Ghosn had yet to green-light the next-generation supercar despite the fact that the model is quickly approaching its sixth anniversary. Now, IL indicates a new version of the GT-R will show up in 2018. Before that, a significant refresh will bow in 2013 as a 2014 model. With substantially revised front and rear fascias and driveline changes, the model should serve as a suitable stop-gap between now and when the next-generation GT-R touches ground. Funk Flex

Auto Talk: Infiniti still considering version of Nissan GT-R

The rumor is back: Infiniti is considering a top-dog model based on the Nissan GT-R. The GT-R running gear is impressive with its 500-plus turbocharged horsepower and sophisticated all-wheel drive system, but anyone who’s driven Nissan’s supercar will tell you that it lacks the finesse you’d expect from an Infiniti. Auto Talk: Next Nissan GT-R may produce up to 570 hp

The Nissan GT-R is an impressive piece of machinery on a number of levels, but perhaps most astounding is the fact that it’s performance continues to improve year over year. If the rumors kicking around NAGTROC forums are to be believed, that trend will continue for the 2013 model. Nissan reportedly held a European press event at the Nürburgring where the company unveiled some of its plans for the next-generation supercar. Thanks to new engine mapping, a revised intake and exhaust, the 2013 Nissan GT-R may produce as much as 570 horsepower – around 40 more ponies than the current variant. In addition, the transmission and suspension mapping will also receive minor adjustments. Funk Flex Find Flex On Google+
