Earlier this morning on Hot 97’s morning show, host Peter Rosenberg took a few minutes out to discuss Nicki Minaj and her latest single, Starships. Rosenberg is pretty unhappy with both the single and Nick herself, saying she’s completely sold out and is totally pop…no longer that “underground rapper” from Queens she once was. In MY opinion, people always say artists “sell out” when they go mainstream…but it’s all about progression, no? Yes she’s doing pop records, but she’s doing rap records too! What do you guys think?
