NFL: Mark Sanchez Responds to Geno Smith Not Coming to His Practice Sessions

New York Jets rookie Geno Smith decided not to show up to Mark Sanchez’s annual Jets West practice sessions although he was invited.  The no-show raised plenty of eyebrows considering Smith is not only a rookie who didn’t join the rest of the team but he and Sanchez are still competing for the starting quarterback position.  Sanchez responded to Smith being MIA.  Read more after the jump.


NFL: Report.. Jets Running Back Arrested For Gun & Marijuana Possession

Jets running back Michael Goodson, who was just signed this off season, already has put his playing time in jeopardy. TMZ reported that early this morning, Goodson was in an SUV with a friend and they were parked on the shoulder of Interstate 80. When Police approached the SUV, it was obvious both men were completely wasted in their opinion. Goodson was a passenger, so the fact he was drunk is not an issue, but the 45 caliber hand gun and almost 2 ounces of weed he had is a problem. Read more after the jump.
