NBA: Ryan Anderson to Join Hornets in Sign-and-Trade With Orlando Magic

The New Orleans Hornets have acquired another piece of their 2012-2013 frontcourt, and the Orlando Magic continue to clean house. In a surprising move, the Hornets will add Magic power forward Ryan Anderson via a sign-and-trade with the Orlando Magic, according to ESPN’s Marc Stein on Twitter.  Read more after the jump. NBA: Hornets Expected to Buyout Rashard Lewis, He’s Looking to Join a Championship Contending Team

Rashard Lewis was traded to the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday, but it’s unlikely he’ll ever suit up for the team. Lewis will almost certainly be waived before July 1, according to sources close to the situation. NBA: Hornets Willing to Match Any Offer to Keep Eric Gordon Including a Max Contract

Eric Gordon was acquired by the New Orleans Hornets through a trade sending Chris Paul to the Los Angeles Clippers.  Gordon was only able to play nine games due to knee and back injuries but the Hornets are very adamant about keeping the guard on the roster.  Read more after the jump. NBA: Dwight Howard Tells His Teammates to Stay Home or in the Lockeroom If They Don’t Want to Play

The Orlando Magic looked frustrated and like they didn’t even want to play when they took a 93-67 beating from the New Orleans Hornets on Friday night.  Dwight Howard wasn’t too happy about their performance and had some harsh words for his team.  Since he’s strongly considering leaving the team, I suggest they listen up or maybe they think its too late.  Read more after the jump. @Shay_Marie x @gametimegirl
