New Jersey’s first medical marijuana dispensary recently opened and its owners have described the process. They said it took them so much paperwork over nearly 2 years in order to open Greenleaf Compassion Center in Montclair. They even took the risk of spending their life savings on this project, but I guess they were almost positive that it would be profitable! Half a million dollars later and a struggle with the governor they opened up and are legally dealing marijuana to patients that need it in NJ! Steph B

A truck driver has been convicted of the brutal murder of a New Jersey woman more than three decades ago. New Estimate Of How Much Hurricane Sandy Damage Will Cost New Jersey
Governor Chris Christie has announced the new estimate of how much Hurricane Sandy damage will be costing the state of New Jersey. According to the preliminary analysis released by Christie’s office on Friday, the storm’s damage and cost of rebuilding will cost over $29.4 billion. Governor Andrew Cuomo has announced that he plans on asking he federal government for $30 billion in disaster aid for the state.
