His charges included entering a residence while armed, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, using a 17-year-old or younger to, or conspire to, enter a residence and commit an armed robbery with firearms, with bail set at $150,000.

Fetty Wap’s “Wake Up” video has caused an investigation at Eastside High School in Paterson, NJ. I can’t say that I’m surprised at this news! The video was shot there, as it’s the school that the “Trap Queen” rapper attended before dropping out to pursue other avenues, and the questionable imagery in the final product has district administrators none too pleased. I’m sure I was not the only one a bit taken aback upon my first watch of the video last week, as scenes inside the school’s halls included a twerking stripper equipped with a pole, “students” (paid extras, likely of age) drinking 40s and other behavior one wouldn’t think a school would approve for a video that will be seen worldwide… And it turns out, they didn’t.

The legendary Kool & the Gang are already a part of the New Jersey Hall of Fame (can’t lie – didn’t even know we had one,) so it’s only right that their hometown get a street named after them! Tomorrow, April 29, the portion of Maple from Pacific Avenue (where Ronald “Khalis” Bell and his brother Robert, aka “Kool,” grew up) to Whiton Street in Jersey City will be renamed Kool & the Gang Way. “It’s the equivalent of having a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” said Khalis. “I never dreamed of it. I’m humbled and honored. And it’s just amazing that it’s that corner where we grew up.” That’s really dope, and I’m proud to call that city home! Can’t wait to visit the street sign when it’s up!
