UPDATE: Nelson Mandela Released From The Hospital

Yesterday we reported that Nelson Mandela was taken to a South African hospital for some tests. 94-year-old, Mandela, had some test run and has returned to his Johannesburg home. The former South African president is said to be in good health and the tests were just routine. Mandela’s health is being watched by a team full of doctors just due to his age. Read more below.


Nelson Mandela Hospitalized Again!?!?!

Nelson Mandela,the 94 year old former South African President has been hospitalized again for a routine check up and doctors say there is no need for alarm. Mandela has now been hospitalized several times for minor reasons I hope all is well in the Mandela family. In January Mandela completed rehabilitation for gallstone surgery and lung infection and was gradually returning to a regular routine, we hope this stint in the hospital doesn’t disrupt anything. Mandela has not made a public appearance since 2010 and was receiving treatment in his home in Houghton a suburb of Johannesburg as reported by CNN.

Former South African president Nelson Mandela has admitted to being a fan of a certain American TV show. President Mandela is a pretty smart man, so it’s kind of surprising that he would be a fan of this pretty stupid show but we all have our guilty pleasures! Zaziwe Dlamini-Manaway and Swati Dlamini, Mandela’s granddaughters, were the ones who told the press which show their grandfather likes as they began shopping around for their own reality show. Nelson Mandela Recovering After Successful Surgery

Former South African president, Nelson Mandela, is currently recovering after a successful gallstone surgery. The 94-year-old is still battling a lung infection, but is doing well post-op. Mandela was sick for a while with the gallstones since doctors wanted him to be a little better due to the lung infection which is not life-threatening but could be. Mandela has been hospitalized since December 8 and there is no word as to when he will be released. Read more below. Julie A.

The Former South African President has been admitted to the hospital but South African officials say that there should be no cause for panic. Nelson Mandela, who was the first person ever to be elected President in a fully representative South African nation has made many visits to hospitals over the years but has always been a fighter.
