Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl From the players and coaches all the way through the roving media contingent, March Madness can be exhausting for everyone involved. It appeared on Saturday that former coach and current ESPN analyst Bob Knight may succumbed to the mounting exhaustion.  Luckily, his good friend Digger Phelps noticed after a few seconds and gave Knight a little nudge.
Tyshawn Taylor made two big free throws and Thomas Robinson finished with 19 points and eight rebounds Saturday night to rally the Jayhawks past Ohio State 64-62 in the Final Four. Â Kansas rallied from 13 points down to complete another comeback in a game the Jayhawks led for a grand total of 3:48 – two of those minutes coming when the score was 2-0. Â Elijah Johnson, whose layup won an equally dicey game against Purdue in the regional semifinals, made one with 1:12 left to put the Jayhawks up 62-59 – their biggest lead of the game. Â Kansas (32-6) plays Kentucky in the final Monday. @Shay_Marie x @gametimegirl
It was a seriously fast paced game but in the end the Kentucky Wildcats beat Louisville 69-61.  They’re heading to the championship game and will face whoever wins between Ohio St. and Kansas which comes on next.  Louisville played well, attacking the boards and  coming back each time Kentucky made a run but it just wasn’t enough.  The Wildcats shot 58% from the field with a monster game from AP Player of the Year Anthony Davis with 18 points and 14 rebounds.  Congrats to the Wildcats. @Shay_Marie x @gametimegirl
