TheÂ Joe Paterno statue, located on the west side of Beaver Stadium in State College, has been one of the most-discussed topics in the wake of Louis Freeh’s scathing report on the failures of top Penn State officials, including Paterno, to stop child rapist Jerry Sandusky. Everyone has an opinion on whether the Joe Pa statue should come down. Sources have told ESPN over the weekend that trustees had no plans to remove the statue (yet). Sabrina B. Three men have told investigators that Jerry Sandusky, the former Penn State defensive coordinator recently conficted of 45 counts of child sex abuse, molested them in the 1970s and 1980s, The Patriot-News of Harrisburg, Pa., has reported, citing sources close to the case.
