Bradley Patterson is a walk-on long snapper for the Division II University of North Alabama football team has been kicked off the team after sending a racist tweet last night during Sunday Night Football. He sent out a tweet in anger directed at President Obama because SNF was interrupted for Obama to give a speech at the memorial for the victims of the shooting in Newtown, CT. Former Ohio State running back Maurice Clarett has been in the news alot in his life. First it was for being a star freshman running back who tried to enter the NFL early and was denied. Then it was for being suspended by the team. Then it was for being in prison for a few years for robbery and weapons charges. Now he is in the news again, and its very interesting. NCAA: Coach Suspended & Fined $50K!! For What?
Rutgers basketball coach Mike Rice was suspended for 3 games and fined $50K by the University Thursday. This is coming directly from the school and not the NCAA itself. The school said the fine and suspension were due to a violation by the coach of the athletic department policy.
