NBC has recently purchased Stringwire, a web service, with the intention of allowing viewers like you and I to stream live video from a phone directly to a control room and BAM it readily being available for all the world to see. NBC sees this as the perfect innovation since realistically we all have our phones on us at all times and it would come in handy for coverage on something like a protest or the bombings in Boston.

How to catch a cheater? NBC’s “How To Catch A Predator” host was ousted for having an affair a couple of years back, but he’d managed to clean up his act and continue working for the channel. However, new pics have surfaced of him and the same woman, 32-year-old news anchor Kristyn Caddell, and now NBC has given him the boot. “Chris has been a valued member of the team and we thank him for his many contributions to Dateline and NBC News over the last 20 years,” NBC told TV Guide Magazine. “We wish him the very best.” Ouch!
