Meet Jessica Sanchez; The Girl That Just Sang The Star-Spangled Banner On The NBA Finals

If you’re tuned into Game 1 of the NBA Finals, you just saw Jessica Sanchez BEAST the The Star-Spangled Banner! Her voice is amazing to say the least. And of course we at IFWT have some more info on her if you care to know! The 16 year old singer is a finalist from season 11 of American Idol. She hails from California and has been doing her rounds singing the patriotic song, having just performed it at the Pacquiao vs. Bradley fight on Saturday. Sabrina B. Wow, what a game!!! Congrats to the Miami Heat!!  They won 101-88  in game 7 over the Celtics & advance to the NBA finals to take on the Thunder!


NBA: Thunder Reach NBA Finals For 1st Time Since Franchise Moved To OKC!

Sabrina B. After years of nagging Oklahoma City Thunder coach Scott Brooks not to take him out of games, Kevin Durant finally got his wish.  And now, he’s one big step closer to making his basketball dreams come true. Durant had 34 points and 14 rebounds while playing all of regulation for the first time all season, and the Thunder claimed a spot in the NBA Finals by beating the San Antonio Spurs 107-99 on Wednesday night.


NBA: Brian Scalabrine Says Derrick Rose Isn’t Ready & Throws Shot at Lebron?

Brian Scalabrine is currently playing in Italy during the lockout and doing quite well.  He sent down for an interview with Jorge Sierra of HoopsHype.com.  He was asked a variety of questions but one answer in particular was quite interesting.  Sierra asked if the Bulls were close to the level of last seasons Celtics and Heat teams.  He also threw a subtle shot at Lebron James.  Check his answer after the jump. @Shay_Marie x @gametimegirl
