(Video) Naughty By Nature Turned Down By One Uber Driver; Makes The Next Driver’s Day
New Orleans Uber driver Dale Latino got the surprise of a lifetime when his last fare of the night turned out to be his favorite rap group, Naughty By Nature. The group was in town for a stop on their 25th anniversary tour and before being picked up by Latino, they were turned down by another Uber driver. “They got in and thanked me,” he explained to the local news, the grouped believed the were turned down for being black. He added, “They were upset about the first Uber driver and I think I was able to make them feel better about New Orleans.” Latino, who was clearly a huge fan of the group was already going to the Naughty by Nature show and during the concert was pulled up on the stage by the group, who now considers him family. In a video sent to the local news the group said “He is family now. I think he shed a tear. We just told him to have fun.” Listen to the driver tell his story below.
Naughty By Nature Created A Kickstarter Fundraiser to Fund New Project
New Jersey’s legendary rap group Naughty By Nature have launched a Kickstarter fundraiser to raise funds to create a new EP. The group is asking for fans to help donate so the group can pay for recording, mixing, and mastering the project. Hit the jump for more.
Bobby Brown Set To Go On Tour Despite His Daughter’s Critical Condition
Bobbi Kristina is still half brain-dead and sitting in her hospital bed, but her father needs to hit the road and make some $$. Bobby Brown is going on tour with Naughty By Nature members Treach and Kay Gee, although he has no desire in doing so. According to Brown, if it was him, he would spend all of his time sitting at his daughter’s bedside. He’s scheduled to do three shows in Australia with the NBN boys and he cannot cancel because he already canceled back in March. The promoters are apparently holding Brown responsible to their contractual agreement. I completely understand that business is business, but I doubt Bobby will be able to give his 100% for the performance knowing his daughter could die any second. Tricky situation.
Dope! You’ll Never Guess Which Famous Rapper Is Set To Appear On VH1’s ‘Couple’s Therapy’
VH1 just added yet another famous rapper to their Couple’s Therapy line-up. First it was Ghostface Killa, now it’s Treach from Naughty By Nature! He will be starring in the fifth season of the show alongside his longtime girlfriend, Cicely Evans. The other stars that will be appearing on the show include XXX star Jenna Jameson and her boyfriend John Wood, Jersey Shore star Deena Cortese and BF Chris Buckner, and Big Brother‘s Dick “Evil Dick” Donato with girlfriend Stephanie Rogness-Fischer. There’s also a fifth couple that has yet to be announced. Should be an interesting season!
