Lil Wayne Announces First Annual Lil Weezyana Fest In New Orleans

This is pretty dope. Next month, Lil Wayne will host his first-ever music festival, heading back to his New Orleans hometown for “Lil Weezyana Fest.” Though the lineup has not yet been announced, we do know that Tunechi will reunite the Hot Boys for the concert, which goes down at 7pm at Champions Square’s Bold Sphere Music on August 28. Pre-sale tickets begin today, July 8, while general public tickets go on sale on Saturday, July 11. Will you be in attendance?


The 9th Annual ‘Luda Day Weekend’ Kicks Off Tonight In ATL

While Jay Z’s ‘Made In America’ festival goes down simultaneously on both coasts this Labor Day weekend, Ludacris will be holding it down in the south for his 9th annual ‘Luda Day Weekend’ in ATL. Kicking off tonight with a celebrity charity bowling game, the weekend will also include a VIP dinner, block party/concert, celebrity basketball game, a pool party and more before wrapping up on Monday night. Drake Announces Dates For ‘Houston Appreciation Weekend’

Last month, Drake took to Instagram to reveal ‘Houston Appreciation Weekend’ with no further details, adding he’d announce the dates for the event in the near future. A month later, Drizzy has delivered. H-Town will be ablaze June 13-15th, though we still don’t know with who or what they’ll be doing. With Drake involved though, you know it’s going to be crazy! The Young Money superstar will follow HAW up with his 5th annual OVO Fest in his hometown of Toronto, going down the first weekend of August. More info and tickets for that one here.
